How much does it cost to join?

Toastmasters, in comparison with various public speaking courses, seminars, programs, cassette and video kits, is the least expensive and the most effective way to learn public speaking and to develop confidence and self-esteem in the public arena.

While Clubs charge their fees in various ways, the ongoing cost to belong to Toastmasters in all cases works out at less than $4 per week.

New members pay a one-time joining fee and membership renewal dues paid twice annually, all totalling approximately $100.00 a year.

Once you have paid your membership fee, we will then formally vote you into their club. We will also conduct an induction ceremony, where you will be presented with your name badge and Toastmaster pin.

Can anyone join Toastmasters?

Anyone aged 18 years and over may join Toastmasters.

Business owners, managers, sales professionals, teachers, students, domestic engineers, every other occupation and retirees all have something to gain from our program.

Can guests visit your club?

Visitors are most welcome at any Toastmasters meeting, and are always assured of a comfortable and warm visit. Toastmasters realizes that public speaking is a frightening thought for many people, and summoning up the courage to get to the first meeting is always the most difficult step – every Toastmaster had to walk through that door once.

Visitors are encouraged to attend one of our meetings and to see the Toastmasters program in action, without any obligation. There is no need to RSVP, just be sure to bring a pen or pencil and a smile!
